How to make sure your SCORM course is tracked properly

SCORM is a popular e-learning standard enabling some cool course creation and great interactive features. Once you have created your SCORM course, you can choose how you want the eLeaP LMS to track your course completions.

For those who want to have SCORM quizzes send completion data including pass/fail, points earned, session time and date/time, you would need to make sure your SCORM publishing settings are correct.

Here's what to do:

Here's how to publish for the LMS (if the course contains a quiz or you want scores to be sent to eLeaP). Note that we are using Articulate Storyline to illustrate these settings.

  1. Step 1 is to make sure you publish to SCORM 2004
  2. SCORM 2004 publishing settings

    2. Step 2 is to set 'Report status to LMS' to: Passed/Incomplete​
    SCORM publish to LMS. Pass or fail settings
    3. Step 3 is to check the [Tracking] tab to ensure that it is set to track using quiz result and also the right quiz slide
