Admin: Can Supervisors get notifications before their Trainees' deadlines?
Posted by Telania Customer Service on 04 June 2015 03:15 PM

We talked about this extensively with the developers, and what it came down to was that if we wanted to allow Supervisors to get automatic notifications in advance of the deadlines, then it would slow the system down. Ultimately, we had to reject that option, as a slow system would be frustrating for everyone. Here are some options for making sure your Supervisors get notifications before deadlines actually arrive:

  1. When you create the deadline for the course, make it a little earlier than then "real" deadline. This gives everyone a chance to actually complete their training before your compliance due dates arrive.
  2. If the deadline is based on "period of time," assign the Supervisor to the courses individually a few days or a week before you assign the User Group.
