Viewing .WMV files in Firefox or Chrome
Solution Windows:

Sometimes, Firefox and Google Chrome, will indicate an error if they detect .WMV files embedded in a web page.

To continue viewing your WMV videos, download this Windows Plug-in for Firefox/Chrome at http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx

After installing it, make sure you close all browser windows and restart Firefox or Chrome to view your WMV videos.

Mac:

If you are having trouble viewing .WMV, download Windows Media® Components for QuickTime, by Flip4Mac™ http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx
