Solution Scenario:

I am looking for a way to pace the progression of the trainee from one session to another in the course based on a quiz. E.g.

- Do a session
- Answer questions … right
- Then the trainee can progress

Objective is that trainees only can progress once they showed that they understood the content.

*Solution*:

Your request to set progression standards for your users makes sense. That is why we have incorporated that feature into the Career Path system.

Let me give you some background on how the Career Path works: The Career Path is a combination or collection of a series of Courses.

Scenario:
Lets say you want to create progression standards whereby the Student has to complete and pass a section/segment before they are allowed to proceed to next.

Career Path Solution:
Create your courses as if they were sections/segments of an overall "Master Course". So for example create courses like: Solutions Management Chapter 1, Solutions Management Chapter 2, Solutions Management Chapter 3, Solutions Management Chapter 4 etc etc.

You can then add these courses (Solutions Management 1,2,3,4) to a Career Path called 'Solutions Management Module'
Using the [edit career path] feature, set [Pre-set Navigation] to [YES].

You will also see that you have the option to set [Quizzes] as 'Required' or 'Optional' for each course in your Career Path. This means that depending on your setting, the user needs to not only complete the course course but also pass the quiz or quizzes in each course in other to proceed to the next course in the series.

** Remember you can re-name existing courses to fit with your overall Career Path requirements.
